Little Ingleborough?

This painting is a little more abstract, but I was attracted by the clouds above Ingleborough, which made the normally imposing peak look small.

Moody Ingleborough

A painting of a rather moody looking scene with Ingleborough in the background. It is based on a picture I have on a calendar.

The Church of the Holy Cross, Mwnt

This is a painting of the little church at Mwnt in South Wales. We visited here when on holiday. There is a beautiful beach there too.

Girl on Beach

Another go at figures on the beach. This one captures the struggle of a little girl negotiating the pebbles at a beach in South Wales.

Ingleborough Moon

This one is based on a photo I took on the way to Ingleborough one evening. The full moon rising over the mountain was really inspring.

The Hole

Figures on the beach at Whitesands. I really liked the idea of including figures in landscapes, capturing something of life. Not sure I've quite got it right, but its another experiment.

The Greatest Day

My first painting with the acrylic paint set Penny bought me for Christmas! Captures what my son called the "Greatest day of his life" - it was fun in other words.
